Terms

This site lets viewers request songs for a live stream, and optionally pay to give their song guaranteed playtime. These are the rules for using it, in plain English. Short version: paid requests are tips to the streamer with a song attached, all payments are final, the streamer runs the queue, and Queuebox ("we") runs the site.

What a paid request is

A paid song request is a voluntary tip to the streamer. Picking a song and a playtime is how you tell them what you'd like to hear — it is not a purchase of goods or services, and nothing on this site is for sale. Your payment goes directly to the streamer's PayPal account; this site never holds your money.

We do everything we can to play your song: it's queued immediately, and if the stream's music happens to stop, the request is saved and queued again as soon as music is playing. But a live stream is live — a technical hiccup on the music provider's, PayPal's, or the stream's side can delay a song. Tipping means accepting that small risk.

Payments and refunds

Tips and gift pot contributions are non-refundable except for the paid-removal policy shown at checkout. By paying, you agree that the payment is final and that you won't file a chargeback or a PayPal dispute over it. The money goes straight to the streamer and your song is queued right away, so a payment can't be "returned to the shelf".

When enabled by the streamer, viewers may pay to skip a queued direct-paid or gift-pot request. Songs already playing cannot be skipped through this checkout. If playback starts before capture, the skip payment is not charged. The skip checkout shows its price and refund policy. When refunds are enabled, direct payments are refunded through PayPal and redeemed gift-pot costs are returned to the pot. Skip payments do not affect leaderboard credit. If a skip payment is captured but skipping cannot complete, that skip payment is refunded. Refunds may take time to be confirmed by PayPal.

The streamer and their moderators may skip or remove a song that breaks the house rules below or doesn't fit the stream. That doesn't come with an automatic refund — moderation is part of the deal.

If something genuinely went wrong — you were charged and your song never played through no fault of your own — contact the streamer through their channel and they'll make it right. If you can't reach them, email hello@queuebox.gg and we'll help sort it out.

The gift pot

Gift pot contributions are tips like any other, with a twist: the amount becomes a shared balance that any viewercan use to request a song for free. You don't get a say in which songs it's spent on, and contributions can't be withdrawn or refunded. The streamer may cap, pause, or retire the pot at any time; the corresponding playtime stays available to viewers until it's used.

House rules

Display names, song choices, and the queue are shown publicly and read out on a live stream. So: no slurs, harassment, impersonation, or advertising in your display name, and no songs picked to harass someone or to get the stream in trouble on its platform. Don't use bots or tricks to dodge the request limits.

The streamer decides what fits their stream. They and their moderators may decline, skip, or remove any request, hide a display name, or block abuse — at their judgment, without notice. Seen something on this site that breaks these rules? Tell the streamer's moderators, or email hello@queuebox.gg.

Age

Anyone can make free requests. To pay, you must be old enough to use PayPal yourself — 18 in most places. If you're younger, the free option is still all yours.

Who you're dealing with

Three parties are involved. Queuebox operates this site: we run the request software and hold the records described on the privacy page, but we never hold your money. The streamer runs their page: they set the prices, moderate the queue, and your tip goes directly to their PayPal account. PayPalprocesses the payment under its own terms. Music services provide playback under their own terms. Any tax due on tips received is the streamer's responsibility, not yours.

Service availability and liability

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it — streams drop, services go down. If something breaks, the combined responsibility of Queuebox and the streamer to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected request.

Changes

If these terms change, this page will be updated before the change applies. The version live when you pay is the one that counts for that payment.

Questions

About a specific stream or request — ask the streamer through their channel. About the site itself — email hello@queuebox.gg. For what happens with your data, see the privacy page (privacy concerns: privacy@queuebox.gg).
